Bruce became a Registered Liquidator in 1988.
Early in his career he was a Partner of both Adelaide's leading insolvency firm and also of a "Big 5" Firm following a takeover.
Bruce Mulvaney & Co commenced in Adelaide in 1995 and Bruce moved the firm to Melbourne in 2000.
Bruce is a former State Chairman and National Board Member of The Chartered Accountants in Australia.
Bruce welcomes phone enquiries and gives personal attention to every client matter. He leads a team skilled in the Management of Company Insolvencies.
He has wide experience across different industries and situations, and advises clients about competitive business developments and the implications of the insolvency landscape. He utlilises these skills to understand how businesses need to and can face up to financial and commercial challenges.
Bruce Mulvaney has carried out many small insolvency administrations and several large administrations including food manufacturing, construction, tradie, agribusiness, not for profit, and in “sunset” industries.
Many of Bruce's assignments are for small family sized companies.

More Details of Bruce's Experience
After gaining experience in the Audit Division Bruce transferred to the Insolvency & Receivership Section of KPMG with Rick Allert and John Heard who were then the leading Insolvency & Restructuring Practitioners in Adelaide. He later became a Partner of Allert Heard & Co (a Ferrier Hodgson Firm). Following Arthur Andersen purchasing Allert Heard & Co, Bruce was a Partner for three years.
Whilst working in these firms, Bruce gained valuable skills initially with Court Appointments on behalf of the Tax Office for Liquidations, Insolvency Appointments made by Directors of small family businesses, and also with Members Voluntary (Solvent) Liquidations. He continued with these responsibilities whilst also managing several large matters. These included a major finance, trust, & real estate group which was then SA's largest insolvency ; Receiverships of several large manufacturers including Horwood Bagshaw (a major agricultural machinery business) ; livestock transport ; hospitality ; motor vehicle dealers ; and many construction companies. He handled several matters in Darwin, Alice Springs & elsewhere in the Northern Territory. Consulting Matters included tuna fishing, wineries, and liquor merchants.
